A center and quarterback agree on the cadence and where the quarterback’s hands will be.

Run the drill

  1. Set the ball on the ground. Wait for the agreed signal.
  2. Move the ball back between the center’s legs into the quarterback’s ready hands.
  3. The quarterback secures it, then both players reset before the next exchange.

Watch for

Agree on hand position before starting. Keep the exchange controlled.

Rehearse the handoff at walking pace before adding a play.
