Set up

Mark a receiving spot and a clear exit lane away from the passer.

Run the drill

  1. The receiver faces the passer and shows a target.
  2. Catch and secure the ball before turning into the exit lane.
  3. Walk back and exchange roles. Add movement only when both players are ready.

Watch for

Finish the catch before looking away. Keep the ball close as you turn.

Adjust it

Start without a turn, then add it after a controlled catch.
